EUGENE, Ore. – An ATM has been stolen from the Lane County Fairgrounds with an undisclosed amount of cash inside it at the time of the theft.

Eugene police say officers responded to the fairgrounds early Thursday morning after receiving information about the theft.

The suspects reportedly left the area in a white U-Haul cargo van. Police said it has no rear windows and “1995” is written on the side. At this time, the vehicle has not been found. It was last seen headed west on West 15th Avenue and then north on Tyler Street.

A passenger is described as male, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, having a thin build and wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black baseball hat and light orange mask.

Pride Vending said they can't reveal how much money was in their ATM but they are less concerned about the money are more so about the machine itself being missing. The company, which is based in the Eugene-Springfield area, is family owned. Pride Vending's owner said they take a huge hit from thefts like this.
