Behind the front, high pressure will build back in, returning us to the dry, offshore flow pattern on Wednesday and Thursday. Also, expect fog both mornings. Offshore flow will allow for some afternoon sunshine, especially on Wednesday.

Another cold front will arrive late on Thursday. While the exact timing is still being figured out in the models, right now, the bulk of the rain will be Thursday night into Friday morning. In general, the Coast Range and foothills will likely receive 0.25 to 0.5 inches. Snow level will be above 7,000 feet.

Another brief break is expected on Saturday as the next frontal system approaches. Rain is expected to arrive on Sunday, becoming more showery on Sunday night. Models point to 1 to 3 inches over the Coast Range and foothills, and 0.5 to 1 inch for the inland valleys. Unfortunately, snow levels will remain around 8,000 feet. On Monday, snow levels will drop to 6,500 feet, with additional showers possible.
