Man accused of starting a fire in a Roseburg Safeway

A man is facing charges after Roseburg Police said he lit a campfire in a boarded up Safeway.

ROSEBURG, Ore. - A man is facing charges after Roseburg Police said he lit a campfire in a boarded up Safeway.

Officers arrested Robert Carrico Thursday on SE Rose Street.

They said Carrico removed the boards from the windows on the old store, then went inside the building and started a campfire.

He now faces trespassing and reckless burning charges.
