Newberg, Ore. (KGW) - Oregon's largest winery said scammers are using their business name to trick people.

Rex Hill Winery said scammers are telling people the winery will pay them to wrap their car in advertising decals.

Officials said the scammer offers to pay them up-front, but send fake checks, then ask victims to deduct a portion and send it back.

The winery posted a message on its social media accounts that said it's all fake and they do not advertise that way.
