UO students unveil renewable energy plan

Students from Environment Oregon and the Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group unveiled a new plan to help campuses use 100% renewable energy.

EUGENE, Ore. - Students from Environment Oregon and the Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group unveiled a new plan to help campuses use 100% renewable energy.

The plan was presented today at the University of Oregon.

The 10-point-plan also highlighted colleges and universities that are at the forefront of sustainability.

This is all part of the groups' goal to enable schools to have a bigger leadership role in the country's transition to renewable energy.
