EUGENE, Ore. -- One local employee’s journey from entry-level packer to supervisor shows how hard work and dedication can pay off.
Jordan Albertson is the Shipping and Receiving and Work In-Process Supervisor at Johnson Crushers International. He’s in his 20s, making him the youngest supervisor at JCI.
Just eight months after Albertson started out as a shipper packing boxes, he became a supervisor.
According to him, the key is being willing to learn.
“I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up,” Albertson said. “My dad was in the military. I thought about doing that route. But I kind of wanted to do something on my own. Kind of make my own path. Luckily I was able to find a company that could do that for me.”
Albertson said the company provided the training he needed to do the job without any experience.
