COBURG, Ore. -- Fall is a great time to clean up dying summer plants and to plant new plants for next spring.

The ground is still warm in fall from summer and the rains have started making it an ideal environment for plants to root out. The roots will be established for growth next spring.

Water soluble fertilizers are great to use to keep perennials and annuals looking good. However, toss or cut back annuals and perennials that have come to the end of their season.

For information about plants that are great to plant this time of year, you can find out more information at Johnson Brothers Garden Market
