Electronics can be recycled at new locations in Lane County

Need to get rid of your old TV or computer? Lane County Waste Management will recycle your electronic goods at more locations.

CRESWELL, Ore. -- Lane County Waste Management is expanding their electronic recycling program.  

They are now accepting electronic goods at the Creswell, Marcola, and Rattlesnake transfer sites.

The most common things recycled are old televisions and computer monitors. These things are actually banned from being thrown away in landfills in the state of Oregon.
 
The electronic recycling program accepts things like are things like printers, fax and phone machines, VCRs, DVD players, and stereos. The program does not accept goods weighing more than 50 pounds or large items like copy machines.
